The Scout Hat logo took its inspiration from a combination of things. We wanted it to feel inlcusive and fun for not only parents and kids in youth sports, but for the coaches and broader league managers. Assessment tools have traditionally been biased and skewed toward the better players. The logo had to combat that stereotype. Using a heavy rounded typeface, the cap and creating an actionable tagline, we empowered users to participate as equals. The brand made youth sports assessment fun again. And fun is the name of game.
